A series of botanical stuides made depicting water and water habitats in Inverclyde. These were commissionned by NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde for the new Health and Care Centre in Greenock. The images are framed and are on permenant display within the hospital. The delicate nature of these microsmic images invite the viewer to take a closer look.

The images are made using a process called 'direct positive printing'. Seaweeds,river silts and wild flowers were photographed in situ at various location in the Inverclyde area. The flora and fauna was delicately places onto the paper and exposed to sunlight to create these glowing x-ray like images.
